In Wales there is a move to form a government policy on 'shale gas fracking' amid fears of water contamination and earth tremors. The selling party is looking out to welcome a solid oil company with investment power, excellent management capabilities and a wide spread distribution network. For your company we are able to offer special block prices. Be aware: As per March 16th it will not be possible anymore to acquire blocks without tendering !! Amount of blocks: 14 We acquired an option on 14 neighboring oil/gas blocks within this project. Termination of our option will be 15th of March 2011 24.00pm. These blocks can be shared in a joint venture with other professional parties. Contract / duration: The gas will be supplied under a 30-year production sharing contract (PSC) that will commence on the date production will start. Under this type of contract, which is widespread, the host country retains ownership of the resources and installations. The investors are paid in cost gas (or in cost oil), a percentage of the hydrocarbons produced, to cover their expenses, including depreciation of the installations. The remaining production, known as profit gas (or profit oil), is divided among the co-venturers and the host country. This PSC is very conventional; it ensures a return for the investors that is in line with industry standards. Participation: The respective interests in profit-gas in the offshore production complex is 75% for the co-venturers and 25% for the local government and third parties.
